By downloading, installing, or using the My Food Guide mobile application or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

My Food Guide is a nutrition tracking application that allows users to log food intake, monitor macronutrient and micronutrient consumption, set personalised health goals, and earn screen time rewards based on their daily nutritional choices.

The Service is intended for general wellness purposes only and is not a medical service. My Food Guide does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet.

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Food and nutritional data displayed in the Service is sourced from third-party databases including USDA FoodData Central, Edamam, Nutritionix, and FatSecret. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all nutritional information is complete, current, or error-free. You should independently verify nutritional data for any medical or dietary purposes.

The screen time reward and enforcement features of My Food Guide are intended as motivational tools to support healthy habits. On iOS, screen time enforcement uses Apple's Family Controls framework. On Android, enforcement relies on system overlay and usage access permissions. My Food Guide is not responsible for any unintended consequences resulting from use of these features, including but not limited to restricted access to applications.

You may disable screen time enforcement at any time within the app's Controls screen.

My Food Guide may offer free and premium subscription tiers. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and features included in each tier will be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of a paid subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with My Food Guide are the exclusive property of My Food Guide or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, My Food Guide and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which My Food Guide is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
